Administering PRNs

Recording the administration of a PRN medication can be done in several ways.

During a round

During a round, you will be able to access the service users PRN details when you are administering the round medication. This is done via a simple link in the round medication screen.

From the MAR Chart

You can also view the PRN medication a service user can have via the MAR chart view. This could be a standard PRN medication or a Topical PRN, each has it's own chart to view.

From the MAR you can click in the PRN medication for that day and record the administration details using the Administration screen you'd see if you were giving hte medication during a round.
