Round Scheduled & PRN Medication

There may be times when a medication is prescribed with dosage instructions for Round Schedule and PRN as one item. When this happens, you must use the administration type RS/PRN.

When adding medication with the type RS/PRN, you will get the options to add the round information as well as the PRN information. The key difference between RS/PRN and the individual RS and PRN types is that with RS/PRN, there is 1 overall stock quantity for both administration types. For the individual RS and PRN types, you get stock quantity for each type.
