Witness Reports

Throughout HxCare, there are many places where a witness is required, and each event that asks for a witness will be logged and visible on these reports. The purpose of recording a witness is to make sure that specific events are being handled correctly and being validated by another member of staff.

There are three main witness reports;

Service User Witness

As you are setting up or editing a service user, there are several actions which will prompt you for a witness. An example of this is if you are marking a service user as deceased.

Administration Witness

When you are administering medication, there are many events which will require a witness. If you are administering a controlled drug, or if you need to administer a dosage that is different to what's been prescribed.

Stock Witness

Updating stock information can require a witness to be recorded.
