Service User Details

Adding a new service user to HxCare is a simple process.

You can add a new service user when you view the Service User list.

You will need to put in the following information about the service user:

• First name
• Family name
• The name they are known as
• Date of birth
• Gender
• NHS number if you are in England or Wales
• CHI number if you are in Scotland
• Assign them to an available bed

Once you have added the initial details about the service, you can add further information from the Service User Profile page including uploading an image of the service user.

To add a photo of the service user you must first take a picture of the service user, crop and resize the image on a computer as you need to, the save the image file with a sensible name e.g. peter-smith-photo-01.jpg.

Once you have the file available, you can use the file upload field to select that image file and uplaod it to HxCare.
